Billie Eilish honors late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in Grammys performance

Billie Eilish honored Taylor Hawkins, the former Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins during her performance at the 2022 Grammys. After stepping out on the red carpet dressed in the Rick Owens trench coat She changed her clothes and performed in an image-based T-shirt that featured the face of the musician on the front. It was designed from fashion creator Willy Chavarria, the shirt was in the spotlight during the performance. Eilish performed her smash hit track “Happier than Ever” along with her brother Finneas and she was sure to hold it up to cameras at the conclusion of her performance.

Hawkins passed away suddenly at the age of 50 on March 25. In an interview prior to the 2021 Oscars the following day, Eilish expressed grief over his passing, saying on ” Access Hollywood,” “It was incredibly painful. The news came just before we were scheduled to perform on stage. Then we heard the news and it really was a real blow to us all. It’s horriblytragic.” Finneas said, “We were admirers of his career before we actually met him. We’ve only had the pleasure of meeting him once or twice . . . I would like the chance to have more quality time together however, he was an easier, more cool, more generous, and generous person.”

The Foo Fighters won three Grammys on the 3rd of April with the best rock album, the best rock performance, and the best rock song. Hawkins was recognized by a special tribute at the ceremony.
